![]() The intention is to be sure the same outcome can be achieved where the user is unable to use an interaction or the device does not support it (such as hover on a touch device). ![]() This guidance does not prevent designers from providing more complex pointer interactions, such as multipoint and directional gestures (which are described in the following two topics). Any pointer action should be achievable by simple pointer actions, especially single clicks (or taps). ![]() A key way to support all users of pointing devices is to use established and widely supported conventions.
